Welcome to Tucson

This was what I woke up to this morning.  And we still do not have our new swamp cooler put in.  Supposed to be installed Monday (tomorrow) which is when  it is supposed to be a high temp of 106.  So far we have been using ceiling fans and other small fans.  I set up one big ($100) floor fan yesterday and today.  I bought it
several years ago to use outside when I was recycling aluminum cans and other non ferrous metals.  It blows a pretty powerful shot of air.  Big motor!!!

This heat is getting to me.  Don't feel like moving at all.  Oh well, by this time tomorrow the house should be nice and cool from a brand new swamp cooler.  About $1300, cooler plus installation.  If I was a few years younger, I would have tried to do it myself and saved five or six hundred!!  Oh well---I can dream, can't I?  Everybody stay cool and let me know how it feels!!

Hey Darlene in Oklahoma..Way to go Thunder basketball...I love it...Never did care much for Kobe Bryant......  Take Care, The Can Man

Extraordinary amount of Birthday Parties (May 1st)

Carlos, my ex's husband had a birthday....Carmen, my ex had a birthday....Mayte, my daughter...had a birthday and Lena (a friend of the family who is visiting in Tucson for awhile) had a birthday---all in April and a party for each one.  And I attended all of the parties.  I'm tired........but it has been fun and I got to take a lot of pictures.

My Toyota Pick Up re-registration is due by the end of this month and since I have moved from Miami, AZ to Tucson, I now have to have an annual emissions check.
So tomorrow, my daughter and her friend are taking Stefan and Emmett to Scottsdale for their doctor's visit and I guess that I will be chugging on over the the emissions testing station and do my thing.  Hopefully it will pass!!!!

Have a good day........the can man
