Where do all the ghost and goblins come from? It seemed to me like there was twice as many out doing the "trick or treat" thing this year than last. I was glad to see that there were adults accompanying most of the kids. Then there were some "kids" that looked too big to be kids!! We had a small table set up at the front end of the carport with a lot of decorations and bowls of candy. Greg Horton was controlling the candy dispersal. Some of the kids tried to get off with the decorations!!
I went to the VA Hospital today for a scheduled appointment to get my toenails cut.
I can't believe that they have full fledged Doctors doing that job. I would think that they would have nurses or nurses assistants doing that. I wasn't lucky enough to catch a lady doctor this time. It was a man. I thought he looked awful young to be a doctor.
Well, I am hungry again. I had my routine Raisin Bran Cereal with 1 percent milk and a Costco brand sweetner for breakfast around 8 a.m. For lunch, around 1 p.m., I had chicken pot pie. It is frozen and I think uncooked. You have to cook it for 6 minutes on high and then let it cool. It is not bad............That is something else we got from Costco. We are kind of a Costco family!!
First pic below is my ex (Carmen) with our youngest grandson (Emmett Van) here in Tucson. (pic taken today Nov 1st before going to Karate class)

Sunday is my 76th birthday. I think my family is going to take me out to the Texas Road House restaurant that evening. They have a Saddle that they let you ride on while everyone sings Happy Birthday or something like that. I am usually the one taking pictures at such events but someone else will have to take over if I get to ride the saddle!!
Have a good day....the can man, virgil baker
