Still Easter Vacation

04/09/2012...Another day with my two grandchildren in Tucson.  I was hoping to go to the Tucson International Speedway day before yesterday but I did not want to go alone and my daughter did not feel well.  So maybe next week or the week after.  The races should be going on all summer.  The last races that I attended were at the same racetrack many, many years ago when it was called the Corona Speedway.  Carl Trimmer and Wild Bill Cheeseborg (spelling?) are a couple of names that come to mind that were big names in the jalopy races at that time.  Now they have a new track and a new name and race entirely different types of racecars.  I understand  that they have accesable wi fi through out the grandstand area and a radio station that broadcase within the immediate area.  The last race on this past Saturday evening cost $15 for adults, $13 for seniors or military and children 10 and under were free. And then for $7 more you could upgrade to their deluxe accommidations (whatever that might be!)

Have a good day!!! The Can Man
